I’m the hands and heart behind Appalachian Garage. Originally from Spain, I found myself in the U.S. a few years ago chasing a career in tech. But it wasn’t long before I discovered my true passion: restoring classic cars.

It all started with a gift from my wife—a car to restore. What began as a simple project quickly turned into a love affair with the art of restoration. From welding new panels and fixing dents to rebuilding engines and perfecting candy paint jobs, I threw myself into every part of the process. By the time I finished my first full frame-off restoration, I knew I’d found my calling.

Now, I live and breathe classic cars. Whether it’s bodywork, painting, mechanics, or wiring, I’m always looking for the next challenge and the next story to revive.

Burku isn’t just a dog; she’s the CEO of Appalachian Garage (Chief Enthusiasm Officer, that is). Hailing all the way from Barcelona, this rescue pup has taken to garage life like a natural. With her boundless energy and wagging tail, she oversees every restoration project, ensuring no bolt goes unsupervised.

When she’s not inspecting the undercarriage or keeping spirits high, Burku loves racing around the shop and soaking up the attention of anyone who stops by. Her secret to being such a great CEO? Always staying happy, active, and ready to spread some love.
